Peter C. Walsworth, Tenor
Peter Walsworth is a Vocal Performer of Musical Theatre, Opera, and everything in between. He has performed repertoire ranging from Beethoven, Schubert, and Fauré to Gilbert and Sullivan, Kander and Ebb, and Sondheim. Peter received his Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College. His undergraduate work resulted in a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University.
Born and raised in small-town Alaska, Peter fell in love with the performing arts at a young age, and has found himself on stages ever since; performing in relatively small venues in Alaska, and moving to larger audiences, first in Phoenix and then in Boston. From this, Peter has honed a natural presence on stage as well as a sharp delivery, that is both heartfelt and humorous. His comedic timing has helped him both in his singing and in his hosting of a variety of shows and performances. With his Master's Degree in hand, Peter is taking the opportunity to climb out of his scholastic roots, bringing his strong and melodious Tenor sound to his audiences. Look to see him on stages around the Phoenix area in the realms of Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Solo Recitals, and Operatic Performances. |
